Women are feeling stressed and angry about the Kelowna Women’s Resource Centre having to close for almost 2 months.

The Centre shut it’s doors in the middle of December because of a lack in funding.

Executive Director Micki Smith says they are a last hope for a number of women.

“It’s just one more door that’s closed for them that isn’t there.  We are definitely working really hard to try and get those doors opened and keep them open for the long-term.”

The Centre recently received donations from the Thomas Budd Foundation and the City of Kelowna’s Emergency funds, plus an anonymous donor….
