BC's newly-implemented full day kindergarten program for half of all 5-year-olds is not being "universally embraced" this September. At issue is this question: in whose care should a kindergarten-aged child be spending his or her time? Is it best to be under a parent's or a daycare's watch, or in the hands of the public school system?
