The real challenge has to be directed to the general public

… I appreciate how you are challenging the government about this issue, but the real challenge has to be directed to the general public. Unfortunately, we Canadians have lost our sense of a common good and have swallowed the corporate agenda.
We hate taxes, although this is the price we must pay for a civil society, and we want to focus on punishing offenders, as opposed to preventing crime. How American we have become in our values. I bet most of your readers do not care about our province’s disgraceful neglect of our children.
Most people have raised their kids, or are able to support their children, and must feel the rest can just eat cake. If half the people in this province demonstrated half the concern they felt over the HST, this would be an issue no government could ignore...
