Childcare forum to address North Shore issues

"There's been so much talk on childcare and not enough progress," said Eleanor Scarth, president of the Canadian Federation of University Women, West Vancouver. "I think some people think it doesn't affect them because they don't have kids or their kids are grown."

The North and West Vancouver chapters of the federation will host a community forum on local childcare March 29….

"The early development research is so compelling that most of the cost-effective capital human interventions occur in young children," said Scarth. "That's the question we're going to ask: What steps could we work on here on the North Shore to bring this to pass?"….
