I forwarded the question to the ministry and have now been told that the answer is no. Half-day kindergarten will continue to be available in 2010-11 because full-day kindergarten will be available in only some schools that year. But in 2011-12, parents will only be able to enrol their children in full-day kindergarten in public schools. ….
