Why all-day kindergarten is a good investment

… all provincial governments are faced with the reality of the recession and the corresponding reduction in government revenues. In the face of that constraint, it appears that it may be several years before the substantial funding required will be in place to expand kindergarten to full time or to younger ages in most provinces.

Nevertheless, early childhood development is extremely important. The sooner steps such as extension of kindergarten can be undertaken, the sooner the longer-term future of our children will be significantly improved.
