On the occasion of National Nursing Week, the BC Association of Social Workers congratulates the 26,000 nursing professionals who contribute so much to the health and wellbeing of British Columbians.

"As citizens, as social workers, as interdisciplinary team members, our members know first-hand the remarkable services nurses provide", observes Phyllis Nash, President of BCASW. "Their dedication extends well beyond the bedside, advocating for improvements to health care and the protection of medicare, supporting poverty reduction initiatives including an increase to the minimum wage, and improving child care resources."…
