Dear Editor:
The South Okanagan Boundary Labour Council, and its nearly 4,500 members, strongly supports a B.C. that is for all British Columbians.
… We will have nothing to do with privatization of our public health care system.
We are disgusted that the present Liberal government is satisfied with overcrowded public schools and understaffed and under-supported schools.
Don't even get us started on the fact that students at Okanagan College pay the highest tuition fees in B.C.
The list goes on, too long, as to how the Gordon Campbell Liberal government is giving away the province, mostly behind closed doors.
The South Okanagan Boundary Labour Council supports a fully-funded accessible child care program.
We support the work of the Okanagan Skaha Teachers' Union, in their call for a fully-funded education program….
We support a party that would commit to a plan to reduce poverty within the next 10 years….
