Bankers' bad advice

Why are the leaders of our country talking to the bankers? It is the bankers who have brought us this economic ruin. After years of economic growth billions of dollars have gone to the bankers, and yet the Canadian cupboard is bare.
Bare, that is, after $30 billion was suddenly found to give to these same bankers. No money for health care, education, early child care, housing or other infrastructure. Nothing for ordinary Canadians, but an instant $30 billion for the banks.
Not only have we given $30 billion to the banks, we have failed to secure any ownership in exchange. ….We have followed the advice of the bankers and their big business friends for the last 30 years. Environmental destruction has been enormous and at the end of the day we ordinary citizens have seen our life savings disappear….
