Poll suggests education spending inadequate

Education spending in B.C. may be higher than ever, but a majority of British Columbians say it doesn’t go far enough because increases are offset by rising costs.
The poll, conducted on behalf of the B.C. Teachers’ Federation, found that 67 per cent of respondents were dissatisfied with spending levels while 21 per cent said education is improving as a result of increased spending.
