Of the six councillors currently sitting around the North Cowichan council table, only four are seeking re-election.

… Seymour aims to strengthen the Municipality's role in social planning issues (for example: affordable housing, neighbourhood programs, child care, youth outreach) to build strong, safer, sustainable communities, to reinforce measures to protect and promote agriculture and to strengthen ties with First Nations.
