Bad Olympics idea

As one of nine Vancouver Board of Education Trustees, I can assure parents I will not be voting to close schools during the Winter Olympics.

I know that most parents will be at work, their children need to be at school and there simply is no child-care system to support families if schools close.

Closing schools is not an idea that works for anyone other than the wealthy elite.
