Ed2go offers six-week on-line courses

On-line education seems to be the wave of the future.

Local residents who looked through Community Resource Center's recently distributed Fall Course Calendar might have noticed two-page ad in the center of the brochure, advertising ed2go.

"We're offering 200 courses on-line," said Sylvia Arduini, CRC manager. "They're all about six weeks and cost $125. They take about two hours per week - any two hours during that week."

…. The courses are from ed2go, an American based company that only presents its courses through recognized educational or training institutions.

Offerings include courses in business, …. child care and parenting, …. non-profit management, ….

People can do the courses from home or use the computers at the resource center at no extra charge, said Arduini.

Using theCommunity Resource Centre computers allows access to high speed Internet plus the resource center staff can help if there is a problem….
