Re: MLA slams decision to cancel fall session, Burnaby NOW, Sept. 13.

….Has the Liberal government forgotten that one of the purposes of legislature is to scrutinize government and to hold elected officials accountable to the public?

I'm insulted that the Liberal government and its members … think that "there is no business to conduct." Are they out of touch with reality?

Just because they say there are no new laws to pass, I'm sure British Columbians would like some debate on issues such as health care, child care, full-day kindergarten, raising the minimum wage and the carbon tax….
