Well, elections are in the air - and all are areas of concern, aren't they?

….Canada's election … is also sending nervous shivers down many spines. Harper is certainly "a strong leader" - he brooks no interference with his actions. He has cut or neglected many things we as Canadians stand for. What has suffered under his iron rule? Health, education; good child care; cuts to Status of Women, bringing great hardship to women's issues; cuts to the food inspection rules. (Did you know there are now stricter rules for meat entering the United States from Canada than for our own citizens?….
