The provincial government is taking input on whether or not they should introduce full-day Kindergarten for five-year-olds and optional full-day Kindergarten for three-and-four-year-old children and the last day to get feedback to them is Friday, July 18.
"Because this is such a significant piece of our history, Success By Six is hosting a community forum," said Success Coordinator Cindy Lise. "We want to mobilize our community and have a voice, whether it's positive or negative -- I have no idea what the thoughts of the community are going to be."..
"We really want to be able to connect with parents because this is their children, right?" she said, also noting there's lots of questions floating around on how full-day Kindergarten would work…
"This could be a significant shift in our province in early learning and care for our young children. This call goes out to all parents, child care providers, School Districts, teachers and community members."….
