No one should have to choose between kids and a career

Study after study (including ones reported in The Vancouver Sun) shows that children in high quality child care settings where they are taught by qualified early childhood educators and socialize with other children, perform better in elementary school. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My three-year-old daughter is in day care two days a week (she went full-time until I had my second daughter, because I worked full-time).

I am doing the right thing for my child and for myself. Every family needs the opportunity to make the child care decision that is best for them.
