Re: School closures.

I can't believe Nanaimo schools will be closing. Why can't the schools be better utilized? Why can't some of the rooms be rented out to different organizations to share the cost of running the building?

….What about daycare, art groups….There are so many individuals/groups in Nanaimo that could rent the space. Cut down the rooms for school classes and rent out the other rooms….

I couldn't believe Nanaimo District secondary school was to be closed. An arena was just opened nearby, the fields are upgraded, the new ball field and the college is right there.
