A series of round tables are being held across the province to give parents a chance to comment on the state of child care in BC. 

NDP's Child Care Critic Claire Trevena says her initiative, Raising BC is about hearing what parents have to say, and bringing the grassroots message back to the legislature.

She says, unfortunately, right now the provincial government is focusing it's efforts on things other than child care.

Trevena will be at Selkirk College in Castlegar …and in Rossland….
