Single mothers needing help turning their lives around will have ready access to child care when a new social housing project opens next year in Surrey.
The B.C. government is funding the creation of 59 daycare spaces as part a 36-unit complex to be built on the site of the Maxxine Wright Community Health Centre …. The housing project, … is being developed by B.C. Housing Corporation in partnership with Atira Women's Resource Society….
It's very important that we provide social housing for moms and babes and that they have some supports and resources they can call on.
