NDP MP Nathan Cullen is pleased over some developments he's seen over 2007, but has some strong words for the federal government….
While he cited the need for national child care, more funding for students and improving the health care in regions like ours, he said the Conservative government foolishly gave big corporations - like oil companies and banks - larger tax cuts.
"The choices are made available, particularly when there's a surplus," he said.
"And the government has chosen to help their friends in the office towers before average, everyday people."
