Cluck-clucking of chickens coming home to roost

What's that sound I hear coming from Bill Bennett's office? Oh, wait, it must be the cluck-clucking of chickens coming home to roost.
I'm appalled at the latest BC Liberal $400 million dollar overspend on the Vancouver Convention Centre. … And if you don't think this out of control spending has a direct affect on us in the East Kootenay, consider that by my calculations $400 million restores full funding to all school boards across B.C. for 8 years. It pays the salaries of 1000 child protection workers for approximately 10 years. And it pays for three new ferries!
To say nothing of the money that could be directed to creating desperately needed child care spaces here in Cranbrook.
And we haven't even heard a "cluck" from Mr. Bennett by way of apology to the citizens of the East Kootenay. So much for accountability.
