VANCOUVER/CKNW(AM980) - Finance minister Carole Taylor says next year's provincial budget will focus on the environment.

Taylor has released a budget consultation paper asking the public for ideas on how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

But NDP finance critic Bruce Ralston is not impressed.

"But if you look back, two budgets ago it was about children and we now have the worst child poverty rates in Canada, last year was a housing budget, we have the least affordable housing in the country, so I shudder to think of what a green budget will do for the environment in British Columbia given the track record of this government."….
