Parents
scramble for child care before Tuesday
August 31, 2007
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - BC child care advocate Sharon Gregson
hopes children and their families are not negatively affected
by this come Tuesday.
"Fingers crossed that we can come to some sort of resolution
to keep all services open, as much as possible for families
next week."
Gregson says there are other facilities in Vancouver but many
of them have large waiting lists. She says if people are impacted
hopefully they can get some short-term help from their families
or neighbours.
She adds there aren't enough child care spaces in this Province
to begin with. |
