Parent’s inconvienced by rotating job action at the SFU childcare society are getting a reprieve next week.

Chris Mullen with the union representing the 67 workers at the society says parents and faculty have been very supportive of the job action.

"In deference to their efforts and in deference to faculty and students beginning the new semester next week that we will suspend job action for next week."

Over the last five weeks one of the society's 13 facilities have been shut down each day of the week.

Roughly 270 families, made up of university faculty, students and people living near SFU, rely on the society for childcare.
