To the editor:

With the city strike in its fourth full week it's important to speak out on behalf of those impacted in our community, with no say in the matter, and implore both sides to return to the table and solidify a deal.

The number of affected parties includes our community of seniors, who may now be isolated as they are no longer able to share a meal and engage in their regular social activities at the centre, our talented hard working instructors who have been put out of work, the students who lost their summer employment and parents who had to scramble to find alternate child care as a result of cancelled classes at our community centre.
