VANCOUVER - Parents and child-care providers will be given
tips on tutoring children in play and literacy through a series
of manuals and training programs costing taxpayers $2.7 million.
"There's about 576,000 children under six today [in B.C.].
We want each of them to develop lifelong appreciation for
