... During a press conference, British Columbia Premier
Gordon Campbell said his priority is across-the-board cuts
in federal taxes.
"We think that tax cuts should come first. (And) should the
federal government decide that they are going to have a tax
cut, British Columbia does not intend to enter in that tax
room. We want to leave those dollars in people's pockets."
Campbell said his list of priorities also includes increased
federal investments in aboriginal health and education, as
well as more federal money for transportation infrastructure
and post-secondary education.
