What about single parents with older kids?

The Editor:

Protesters are in such a huff about Harper's child care deal concerning children under six. I'm a single mother with two children over six (seven and 10). Do the politicians think that after the age of six it becomes more affordable for a single mother? Did I get a raise when my children turned seven that I didn't notice?
