There were some serious holes in yesterday's Conservative
federal budget, said Skeena-Bulkley Valley NDP MP Nathan Cullen....
Cullen said the Conservatives failed to adequately fund
initiatives with First Nations, child care and the environment...
Cullen said he's not opposed to the $1,200 tax credit offered
by the Conservatives for child care, but it doesn't provide
more child care spaces and only works out $50 to $70 a month.
"In the North, $50 to $70 a month doesn't get you child
care," he said...
